LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF

About Me

I hold a Masters and Doctorate Degree in Ministry Christian Counseling. I am a Professional Christian Life Coach, Motivational Speaker and Facilitator. My passions are trauma and complex trauma and their impact on the individual. I have provided counseling and mentorship to young men and women for more than 25 years. I am from Baltimore, Maryland. I attended Howard University. Upon graduation I served over ten years on active duty as an officer in the U.S. Army. I had the opportunity to travel to more than 30 countries. I respect and appreciate all cultures and nationalities.

After military service I founded Future Leaders Development Services, a HR Company. I served as an independent sub-contractor for Maryland’s Workforce Development, conducting workshops, seminars and training throughout the State.

I also opened Future Leaders Early Learning Center. And I worked as a volunteer with a non-profit organization called ASHA, the Asian Self Help Agency. This organization assisted women from Asian countries in gaining freedom from their abusive spouses.

In 2006, I relocated to Florida and began working on a non-profit organization. In 2013, I founded There’s Harm in Not Knowing (THINK), Inc. THINK’s primary mission is to advocate and provide support and referral services to female victims of violent encounters and to assist adults of all ages in the pursuit of their best life.

While living in Florida, I volunteered with the Police Athletic League (PAL), an Assisted Living Community and a local Elementary School. And I also sponsored a young man from the Iraqi Army to come to the US. He had worked as an interpreter for the U.S. Marines during the War and was subsequently being pursued by the Taliban.

I was a victim of a series of injustices for nine years. As a motivational speaker I expound on these injustices. I share not only how I overcame these injustices but also how I triumphed through perseverance and forgiveness. I now serve as a Justice Ambassador for the Prison Fellowship, the world’s largest Christian non profit organization for prisoners, former prisoners, and their families, and a leading advocate for justice reform.

I was recognized by the Worldwide Who’s Who for Excellence in Violence Awareness and Prevention. I served as the Guest Speaker for Maryland’s Women Veterans Recognition Day, 2023.
